The Titans were the twelve attractive children of Uranus (Sky) and Gaia (Earth). They were also the first children of Gaia and Uranus. They ruled in a time called “Man’s Golden Age” where no one stole, and life was perfect. They claimed their thrones after the youngest, Cronus castrated his father (Gaia told him to) for putting the Cyclopes and Hecatoncheires in Tartarus.

Some Titans have little to nothing known about them except their names and their mate, please tell me if you know something I don’t.

Crius -
Crius was a male....?????

Cronus - (Kronus, Kronos) [Saturn] -
Cronus, with his sister Rhea, fathered Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Hades, Poseidon and Zeus. He was the youngest, but was the one who stepped forward and castrated his father, Uranus. He was afraid his children would do the same thing to him, so to prevent this he swallowed his children as they were born. Zeus was saved by his mother and eventually overthrew his father’s tyrannic reign.

Hyperion -
Hyperion, with Thea, was the father of Helios, Eos, and Selene. He was associated with the sun and is sometimes the sun himself.

Iapetus -
Iapetus was the father of Atlas, Prometheus, and Epimetheus.

Mnemosyne -
Mnemosyne is the mother of the Muses by Zeus. Her name means memory.

Oceanus -
Oceanus was, with Tethys, the father of all the Oceanids, Rivers, ans Seas of the world. After the Olympians defeated Cronus and his comrades, Poseidon took Oceanus’ kingdom. Oceanus was still the name given to the Atlantic Ocean that had never been sailed. He is depicted as an old man with bull horns, or as a serpent with his tail in his mouth, encircling the earth.

Phoebe -
Phoebe was the mother of Leto by Coeus and of Asteria. Her name means “shining” and is thus associated with the moon and Artemis.

Rhea - [Ops] -
Rhea, with Cronus, fathered Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Hades, Poseidon and Zeus. She saved Zeus from her cannabalistic husband/brother and gave him a stone in baby clothes instead. She, like her mother, was worshipped as an earth mother. Her cult was the strongest in Crete.

Tethys -
Tethys was the wife of Oceanus, and with him the mother of all the Oceanids, Rivers and Seas. She was alos the mother of Styx and some say Hera’s mentor.

Theia - (Thia) -
Theia was the mother of Eos, Helios and Selene...???

Themis -
Themis was the wife of Iapetus (not the mother of Prometheus, Epimetheus and Atlas though) and after his rise, Zeus. With Zeus she mothered the Horae (Seasons) and Morae (Fates). She was the one who communicated with the Oracle at Delphi before it was Apollo’s shrine.

The children of the twelve Titans are under Minor/Demi gods, Nymphs, and Rivers.

There are also a number of pre-decessors, like Chaos, Uranus and Gaia, and also abstract divinities like Ether and Nox. They will be found in Abstract Divinities.
